Privacy policy

What we keep about you, why, for how long, and how to get rid of it. This covers the website and dealing with us. If you are a customer, the data processing agreement covers your own customers' data inside the service.

Who is responsible

bargguo is the controller for everything on this page. Company details are on the contact page. Questions about personal data go to support@bargguo.com and are answered by a person rather than by a mailbox nobody reads.

This website measures nothing

There is no analytics tool, there are no pixels and there are no cookies. The typeface is on our own server, so not even a font request leaves the page. We do not know you are here.

Your browser remembers which language you picked, on your own device. It never leaves your computer and we cannot read it.

The web server delivering the page keeps no visitor log at all. If we ever need to turn technical logging on to diagnose a fault it is short-lived and used only for that.

When you fill in the demo form

We keep what you wrote: name, email address, company, headcount, and what you tell us about the systems you use today. We also keep which page the form was on and any campaign parameters in the address, so we know which outreach actually worked.

Why we are allowed to: legitimate interest. You wrote to us asking to be contacted, and replying is exactly what you expect. We have weighed that against your privacy: the data is small in volume, it is professional rather than personal, and you can have it deleted immediately if you would rather.

What we use it for: getting in touch about the demo and answering what you asked. Nothing else. Booking a demo does not add you to a newsletter.

How long: 24 months after our last contact, or sooner if you ask.

It goes into our own instance of bargguo, on our own server inside the EU. It is not passed to anybody else.

The system that receives the form does keep a technical request log, with an IP address and a timestamp. It is needed to run the service and to stop abuse, and it is cleared on a rolling basis.

When you email us

Mail to support@bargguo.com becomes a ticket in our own instance of bargguo. We keep it as long as we need it to answer you, and for 24 months after that.

When you become a customer

We keep what running the agreement requires: a contact person, an address and billing details. The basis is performance of a contract. Accounting records have to be kept for seven years under Swedish law, and that obligation outweighs a deletion request.

Your own customers' data inside the service is a separate matter. There you are the controller and we are the processor, governed by the data processing agreement you receive before signing.

Who else is involved

The server is with a provider in Germany, inside the EU. DNS is handled by Cloudflare. Nobody else processes the data, and we do not use AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.

We do not sell data on. The product contains no AI, so nothing you write to us is sent to a model provider, for answers or for training.

Your rights

You have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to the processing and to receive it in a readable format. Email support@bargguo.com and we answer within a month, in practice the same week.

Asking us to delete your data needs no justification and costs nothing. We do not ask why.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it you can complain to the Swedish authority, IMY. We would rather hear it first, but you do not have to ask us before you go.

Changes

If we change anything here we update the date below. If the change affects you as a customer we tell you in advance.

Last changed 20 September 2026.
